Early Childhood Teacher

Stone Church Child Care is currently seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to join our dynamic team. We are a faith-based, family-focused child care center in Orland Park. For over 25 years, we have excelled at professional care and personal attention with a focus on imparting the love of Jesus to each child. We care for children between 6 weeks and 6 years of age. Successful candidates will possess the ability to provide excellent care for young children.

Teacher responsibilities include:

o Contribute to the development of each child spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally

o Create developmentally appropriate lesson plans

o Teach a faith-based curriculum

o Follow all DCFS licensing guidelines and Stone Church standards

Minimum qualifications:

- An associate degree pertaining to early childhood care and education; or at least 60 completed hours of college credit, with 6 of those hours pertaining to early childhood care and education

Preferred qualifications:

- Have experience and love working with young children

- Be patient, creative, flexible

- Work well with a team

- Hold an associates or bachelors in early childhood education, elementary education, psychology, or a related field

Schedule:

Full-time position Monday through Friday with flexible schedule between the hours of 6:30 am to 6 pm.
