Entry Level Network Technician

Description

ESAH Inc. is looking to hire a Network Technician with prior experience working with complex networks. The Network Technician will work with our Wired Cisco Tunnel Network in our multiple offices around the Chicago and Rockford area. The work is done on-site (mainly in Palatine); and in some cases, on the phone. 

This is a contract-to-hire position.

As a member of our team, the individual in this position will be responsible for all of the following;

Network Administration:

• Expansion
• Configuration
• Installation
• Troubleshooting
• Cisco Routers (all undertakings)

Infrastructure Administration:

• Exchange support
• Multiple Server support(domain, database, application)

User Support

• Work well in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and leaders

REQUIREMENTS

• 1 year of experience
• Knowledge of network protocols.
• Experience with Windows Operating system and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in and contribute to a team environment.
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to identify and develop resolutions to complex problems.
• Ability to conceive, plan and execute improvements in network administration practices.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to use discretion in handling confidential information.
