Division: | Outreach - Warrenville Outreach - Warrenville is a multi-purpose community service agency serving the residents in the Warrenville area. Programs include the Community Counseling Center, Case Management Assistance, Mentoring and Quest - an after-school/summer-school program for middle school aged youth. |
Job Responsibilities: | The Junior High Teacher will be a member of the Quest staff providing summer school services to at-risk junior high students in the Warrenville community. Responsibilities include working with groups of students in academic instruction, community service, life skills instruction and recreational activities, transporting students to and from the program as well as behavior management and team building activities. |

Requirement
Requirements:
A passion for working with youth. BA in Education, Social Work, Youth Ministry, or a related field; previous classroom or group experience with adolescents; experience with and sensitivity to the needs of students from low-income, high-risk families; strong organizational and communication skills. A valid IL Driver’s License, good driving record and proof of insurance. Basic computer skills. A commitment to Outreach’s Statement of Mission and Faith is required. Spanish language skills a plus.

Program Schedule| Monday - Friday, 10:30am-4:00pm
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position falls between $16 - $18.50 based on education, skills and experience. Additional compensation for language ability.
